Weapons Tech

Weapons tech increase the efficiacy of your ship's weapons.

Missiles

You can make a variety of upgrades to technology that impact the Torpedos of the ship.

Expanded Torpedo Bay

Allows the ship to carry 20 instead of 10 torpedos.

Cost: 6 Metals, 5 Electronics, 3 Weaponry.

Advanced Warheads I

25% increase to base torpedo damage.

Cost: 5 weaponry, 2 Electronics, 1 Metals

Advanced Warheads II

50% increase to base torpedo damage.

Cost: 5 weaponry, 2 Electronics, 1 Metals

Prerequisites: Advanced Warheads I

Advanced Warheads III

100% increase to base torpedo damage.

Cost: 10 weaponry, 2 Electronics, 1 Metals

Prerequisites: Advanced Warheads II

Nuclear Missiles

Unlocks two special torpedo bays armed with nuclear torpedos, which inflict 5000% base torpedo damage. Nuclear torpedoes are highly expensive to manufacture and/or acquire.

Cost: 10 Exotics, 10 Weaponry, 5 Electronics, 5 Metals

Prerequisites: Must have Advanced Warheads I, III, and III. Must have 10 Engineers, 10 Scientists, and 5 Soldiers on staff. Development is highly risky due to radioactive materials, and may result in loss of crew.

Directed Energy Weapons

You can make a variety of upgrades to technology that impact the Directed Energy Weapons.

Laser Efficiency I

Decreases laser energy consumption by 25%

Cost: 5 Electronics, 3 Weaponry, 3 Metals

Laser Efficiency II

50% increase to base torpedo damage.

Cost: 7 Electronics, 5 Weaponry, 5 Metals

Prerequisites: Laser Efficiency I

Advanced Warheads I

25% increase to base torpedo damage.

Cost: 5 weaponry, 2 Electronics, 1 Metals

Advanced Warheads II

50% increase to base torpedo damage.

Cost: 5 weaponry, 2 Electronics, 1 Metals

Prerequisites: Advanced Warheads I

Advanced Warheads III

100% increase to base torpedo damage.

Cost: 10 weaponry, 2 Electronics, 1 Metals

Prerequisites: Advanced Warheads II
