SHG

The "The Senate and the Humans of the Galaxy", or simply, the "SHG" is a highly structured, militaristic and radically idealistic faction that sees themselves as the saviors of humanity in the face of the apocalyptic destruction brought upon them by technology. They use ancient Roman and Greek themes for dramatic effect and as the core of their culture.

Of course, there is an element of hypocisy to their positions. They say that they "look to the past to save our future", yet they, like many civilizations, still depend heavily on the Cyberia one supercomputer; at least at the highest levels.
